EarthDaily Launch II — 6 New Satellites Successfully Deployed
On May 3, 2026, EarthDaily Analytics successfully launched six new satellites (EDC-02 through EDC-07) aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rideshare mission.
With seven satellites now in orbit, the company's global daily coverage capability has taken a significant leap forward. Three more satellites are slated for launch before year-end, putting EarthDaily on track to complete its full 10-satellite constellation.
On May 6th, EarthDaily was officially selected as a commercial satellite
provider under the U.S. National Reconnaissance Office's (NRO) Strategic
Commercial Enhancements (SCE) program. The company will deliver
scientifically calibrated multispectral imagery and remote sensing
capabilities — with commercial operations set to begin this summer.
